Is the 3D viewer free?
Yes. The Proximae 3D viewer is free to use and needs no account or payment details.
Is my model uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads the file from your computer and nothing is uploaded. FBX and OBJ files are converted on your own device as well.
Which 3D file formats can it open?
GLB, glTF, FBX, and OBJ. A model that keeps its textures in separate files can be opened as a ZIP that holds the model and its textures.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The viewer runs in a current web browser. There is no plugin and no download.
How do I share the model or put it on a website?
Create a Proximae account and upload the model. You can then send a review link that clients open in their browser, or embed the model on a website.
