Everything between
"take a look" and "approved"

Browser-based review for studios, agencies, and independent artists. Bring 3D models, animation, images, and video from first feedback to client sign-off.

Context

Every comment remembers where you were.

Click a comment and the viewer returns to the exact view, version, and frame it was written from.

Recalling a comment on a 3D model to see the drawing and the exact viewpoint it was written from.

Lighting, background, shading, and effects come back too. No more trying to recreate the view someone meant.

  • Threads, replies, and mentions
  • Set priorities and mark feedback open or resolved
Versions

Know exactly what was approved.

Every sign-off belongs to a specific revision, with a record of who approved it and when.

Know exactly what was approved.
Switching between versions of an asset and reading the approval state.

A new upload starts a fresh version. Earlier comments and approvals stay put, so yesterday's sign-off never passes for today's.

  • Version names and timestamps from first draft onward
  • A/B comparison with a wipe or side-by-side view on Pro and Team
Animation

Review the animation, not just the model.

Play the clip, step to the frame that is wrong, and leave a comment pinned to that moment.

Playing a clip and recalling a comment pinned to a timecode.

Scrub, loop, or switch clips until you find the moment that needs work. Feedback keeps its clip and frame attached.

  • Precise frame stepping with either timecode or frame number
  • One timeline for 3D animation, video, and animated GIFs
  • Imported camera animation and aspect framing
Review tools

See the work under the right conditions.

Judge materials and details with lighting, camera, and shading controls built into the review.

Cycling through HDRI environments, shading modes, and effects on a single asset.

Start with a built-in studio environment on any plan. On Pro and Team, bring your own HDR or EXR lighting to get closer to the final render's conditions.

  • Camera lens and background controls
  • Object isolation and UV inspection
  • Layered transparency, ambient occlusion, and bloom
  • Adjustable key-light and ground shadows

The details that keep reviews moving

The parts you stop noticing once they work.

Review together in real time

See who is reviewing with you on Pro and Team. Share your 3D camera so others can follow as you orbit and zoom, then point out details with a live laser pointer. Less "a bit to the left," more looking at the same thing.

Watermark what leaves the studio

Add custom text to shared reviews on Pro and Team. Watermarked links keep source downloads off without altering the stored file.

Keep the whole project together

Models rarely travel alone. Keep renders, turntables, references, and environment lighting beside them.

Notifications that close the loop

In-app updates on every plan; email alerts on Pro and Team. Comments, approvals, and Share activity are grouped so one busy review is not forty emails.

Roles that map to how studios work

Team adds Admin and Editor roles for collaborators creating the work. Give each member access to all projects or just their assignments.

Private by default

Files stay in private storage. You choose what to share, and viewing access stays separate from download permission.

Review from anywhere

View, comment, and approve from a phone or tablet, with lighter review copies for life away from a desk.

Common questions

How do I upload a model with external textures?

Put the model and its external dependencies in one ZIP package. Proximae prepares a browser-ready review copy while keeping your source intact.

Do my clients need an account to review a 3D model?

No. Guest Share links need no account or installation. Members-only links require sign-in; free Reviewer accounts are available on Pro and Team.

Can reviewers comment on a specific frame of an animation?

Yes. Comments save the animation clip and exact frame. Opening a comment returns the viewer to that moment.

How do approvals work?

Reviewers with approval permission sign off on a specific version. The record keeps who approved it and when; later uploads do not inherit that approval.

Can I control who is allowed to download the source files?

Yes. Set download permission separately from viewing access for workspace members and individual Share links.

Can I watermark a Share link?

Yes, on Pro and Team. Adjust the text, opacity, size, and angle, and save project defaults. Watermarked links disable downloads without altering the stored file.

Is my work private?

Yes. Only people with workspace or project access, or a Share link you create, can view your files. Storage access uses short-lived links.
